Two killed in three wheeler – train collision
Two people were killed when the three wheeler they were travelling in was knocked down by the Matara bound Ruhunu Kumari express train from Colombo at the unprotected railway crossing at Katugoda, Galle.
The deceased were Mohamed Ramesh (45) and Mohamed Aly (40) and the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital authorities said that both of them were dead on admission to hospital.
The post mortem was to be held at the Karapitiya hospital yesterday noon.
