Another flyover in Panadura
The Foundation Stone for another flyover to be built in Panadura was laid recently by the Minister of Highways and Road Development, Jeyaraj Fernandopulle.
The Panadura flyover is the second flyover which comes under the Government’s fly-over bridge programme. Its work is to be completed in three moths. The project is funded by the British Government.
The Panadura flyover bridge is now been turned out in England and it will be shipped to Sri Lanka on April 15th. It will have two lanes.
The Government is constructing these flyovers with the aim of easing the traffic congestions in main roads. The foundation of the flyover at the Nugegoda junction will be laid next.
