Police arrest law breakers at railway crossing

A large number of motor cyclists, who attempted to cross the railway crossing at Kandegoda on the Ambalangoda-Elpitiya Road when the gates were closed for the trains to pass, were arrested by the Sgt. Susantha (58470) and PC Wipula (59566) of the Ambalangoda police and were fined on the spot.

The police were on alert to detect offenders who ignore the law subsequent to three deaths, due to unlawful crossing.
