Wild elephants killed in train accident
Three wild elephants were killed when they were run over by a Trincomalee Colombo bound train on Thursday (26) night. Anuradhapura railway control office said the accident had occurred near Handagama sub station between Kalawewa and Moragollagama.
No damage had occurred to the train or track and the train service was normal, the control office further said.
