Special Train Services For ‘Dayata Kirula’ Exhibition In Kandy

The Railway Department says that a special train service will be operated for the “Dayata Kirula” exhibition scheduled to commence on Thursday.

Commercial Superintendent of railways Wijeya Samarasinghe noted that this plan would take effect from Thursday and conclude on the 10th. He went on to say that the special train service would be available from Colombo to Kandy and Kandy to Katugasthota and even to Matale.

Samarasinghe added that provincial train services will also be available for commuters visiting the exhibition from areas such as Hatton, Nawalapitiya and Badulla.
