Whatever happened to the proposed Railway Museum in Ratmalana? Didn’t the then Transport Minister lay the foundation stone for that purpose back in 1999? Anyway, opening a museum at the first ever railway station in Colombo is a great idea, and more appropriate than in Ratmalana. I visited this museum, and was very impressed. Let the People’s Bank next door vacate the warehouse, and have therein more exhibits.
