Update:  According to the GMR, the tomorrows trial run have been cancelled.

Intercity Train Service between Colombo Fort and Anuradhapura

The Government is to commence an intercity train service between Colombo Fort and Anuradhapura with a maximum travel time of three hours.

Train times changed for two weeks on Kurunegala line

Schedules of some trains have been altered due to repairs on the tracks between Pothuhera and Kurunegala from December 02 to December 15, say Sri Lanka Railways.
