Multi billion tender attracts good response

Claymore attack on Trincomalee Night Mail

The Colombo bound 7 O’clock night mail from Trincomalee was caught in a suspected LTTE claymore mine. The attack occured 500 meters away from Kantale around 8.20pm today.
The attack caused minor damages to the locomotive but no civilian casualties were reported.
