A host of newly constructed facilities for differently abled railway passengers will be declared open tomorrow at the Maradana Railway Station tomorrow, Operating Superintendant of Sri Lanka Railways (SLR) Vijaya Samarasinghe said.

Special transport facilities for Vesak

The Transport Ministry has made special arrangements to provide additional transport facilities to the public on account of Vesak celebrations, a ministry spokesman said.
Accordingly additional trains will be on service from Fort, Batticaloa, Anuradhapura, Mahawa, Aluthgama, Maradana, Galle, Badulla, Hatton, Rambukkana and Kandy at 40 minutes intervals up to May 21, the Ministry announced.
